Ranch Horses With A Touch Of Class
RIEMANN QUARTER HORSES was established in 1975 with the acquisition of Miss Goldie Jack. She was purchased from Howard Pitzer as a three year old mare and was an own daughter of Two Eyed Jack. She proved herself to be a very good mare and is still listed on the AQHA list of dams producing the most World Champions. Her World Champion off spring, Zan Gold Jack, contributed greatly for ten years as our number one sire. Miss Goldie Jack and our second mare, Billie Fiddle, crossed on Zan Parr Bar serve as the foundation for our broodmare band. The Oak Eyed stallion, by Two Eyed Red Buck and out of Docs Freckled Oak, a double bred Doc Bar/Poco Tivio mare, has left his impression in our broodmare band for the past twenty years. With the acquisition of TRR Model Playgun in 2014, a meaningful partnership was formed with Ron Berndt. His long time experience and expertise in the horse business helped contribute to our breeding program reaching new heights.
"OUR FOCUS through the years has been to produce a horse we think the Quarter Horse Business is all about. A horse that has the genetics, conformation, correctness, temperament, ability and desire to compete as a show horse or as a working partner on the ranch. We want a horse that has a touch of class and is a pleasure to be around. One that fits the demand of a youth or adult, whether for pleasure or work. I think we are coming close to achieving this objective after fifty years of careful selection." Jerry Riemann
